HELLO GLORIOUS PEOPLES OF FANDOM, LIFE, AND BEYOND!

Figured it was about time for an update thingum... Let's see.

Well, the short answer is: Nothing. I've been distracted by the original shiny. The longer answer involves work-for-pay, tag team fiction, nightmares, porn stars, and goats.

...yes. Literally. Actually.

I've gotten a half dozen sincerely sweet notes about the fanfiction, however, and I thank each and every one of you for them. I've not left the fandom. I don't think I know HOW to leave... a... fandom... If for no other reason than at some point anything involving Monoshizukanohi became much more MINE with archetypes than it did "fanfiction" or "fandom" and I haven't kept up with any manga in... years.

(Though I do have a list of anime to watch provided by Kimya and by my brother in law Rathanel.

I have one story to post that's fanfiction, and I hope to work on LiL soon. VERY soon... but a note on that story, in particular...

This story is hard to write for all kinds of reasons that have nothing to do with putting words together and everything to do with emotional impact. I quite literally cannot write this unless I'm level-headed and even-keeled, and if you've been following along, I've not been that way until... oh... September or so of 2013. I love it. I want to finish it. I have very kinky plans for it. But those plans do require me to be able to look at kink without wanting to burn floggers in effigy (which is my way of saying I wasn't in the leather-and-lace mood for a while, there), and thankfully I seem to be getting back to my usual self. Whatever the hell that is.

I want to get SHORT STRAW recorded (that's the story I did that fills us in on some backstory of Neji and Kiba in my Mono world).

I want to preview to an audience the new Weston Evantide original story, wherein we get to meet... the new guy.

...and I did this song parody that I really like and when I get drunk enough I'm almost willing to sing without dying of embarrassment.

I thought I'd be able to do this over the coming weekend, but I think plans are going to stray on that. I'll aim for the following weekend or thereabouts and hope for the best. Stay tuned for announcements.

Vision Quest is three chapters away from over, and I've got the last chapter to write. (Yes, we've been writing ahead since the beginning, hence the reason you gang got your weekly uploads, no matter HOW many times I nearly forgot to post. You can thank Henley for the Canadian-gentle reminders.)

Eight Turns of Fate will be running until May, updating once a month.

My book, FIGHT is coming out in March. My short story, "Choose" is coming out in an anthology in May.

The next New Amsterdam novel is slated to get written after I finish working on a fantasy/horror novel for another pseudonym. It's called, Earthquakes. I've also got a novella idea for that world that is half written, and I've got a series of shorts that I'd like to do for a kink line somewhere.

"Evantide Finds North" is the next installment in the West & Co. saga. I honestly don't know how many there will be AFTER that one, as I think we're heading into novel territory, but we shall see. I get the itch, sometimes, to write that man and there's nothing for it but to DO something.
