Co-Authored with Kelly Wyre
When Arik Beltrán checks into a hotel on business, he expects the tedium of unfamiliar beds and boring meetings. He expects to meet a financial client and be home before the solitude of being a stranger in a mundane land becomes too much to bear.
Instead Arik finds Blaze: a mysterious man with an inner fire that lives up to the name. Nothing in Arik’s life, not his deranged father nor even his faint brushes with the magic only Arik can see in the woven web of life could have prepared Arik for the man in the hotel lobby who casually invites Arik to room 1109 for late night…Well, anything at all.
Blaze Zaituc, on the other hand, knows exactly who Arik is and what Arik needs: Blaze. He has crossed land and sea to find the man who has appeared in Blaze’s Visions as the next target in the Quest that comprises Blaze’s life. Arik is someone for whom the Universe has plans, and Blaze must make sure Arik complies. Or else.
Unaware of the lives and risks hanging in the balance, Arik untangles himself from the sheets in the silent hours of the morning. He wonders if he will find the door to 1109 open and waiting. He’s not a risk taker, but this one time, just this once, maybe he’ll take a chance…
And seal both his and Blaze’s destinies forever.

As it said free read and I'd love to read it, I was wondering if there was any chance it might get crossposted to AO3 (or already was)? I ask only because the reading format there is the easiest to read with and given a platform choice for fic, I always tend to pick it. If not, that's fine. I'll happily dive around links and things to read your work, but I figured it was worth asking :)
Congrats to you both again! I'm excited to sit down and enjoy this story soon.

Thank you. No, it's not going to get posted to AO3, but it WILL be available for download just like any other ebook: so that's MOBI, PDF, PRC, EPUB, and any other reading format you could possibly imagine. Less Than Three Press will have that out and up sometime in the very near future, and I'll be posting a link to it.
We're very excited about this joint work and so glad to hear you are too! Happy reading.

*DANCES AROUND WITH YOU*
We're a little excited around here. That story was so kick ass to write with Henley. We did it "in the round" meaning I wrote a chapter, then him, then me, etc. It. Was. Fabulous. *laughs*

Yeah, I remember watching it go up and I think I read the first two chapters as they did, but then life intruded--as it does--and there were several more chapters up next I checked. I figured I'd just go ahead and wait at that point. It looked like you both were having such a great time writing it though and that was so awesome to see! *hugs*

There. I think that's all the news.
Other than if you've not checked out my new book FIGHT, I highly recommend it, biased person I am. *winks*

Okay... THAT'S all the news. For now.

And yes, I've been seeing you post about Eight Turns of Fate recently. Is that one all wrapped too? I'll have to put it on my reading list if it is!

Eight Turns is a little different. It's an art project wherein we get a prompt a month and do a piece on it. We're a tad behind but there are five chapters up, plus notes (sort of essays on the prompts), side stories, music (youtube account), and all manner of things. It'll be done, Lord willing and no more creeks rising, come May.
...which will be about the time my short story comes out from Storm Moon Press.
No pressure. I hope you're in the mood to read. *GRINS*
(Seriously, thank you. Always good to hear from you!)
